When I started Wild Crafted Tallow, it wasn’t because I wanted to follow a trend. It started during pregnancy, out of a very real need: I wanted skincare I could truly trust for myself and my children.

After years of dealing with skin sensitivities and reading ingredient labels that felt overwhelming and confusing, I kept coming back to one question: Why is skincare so complicated? Our skin is designed with wisdom. It doesn’t need dozens of synthetic ingredients—it needs nourishment.

That’s when I began learning about tallow.

What Is Tallow, Really?

Tallow is rendered fat from grass-fed cattle, and it has been used for generations as skincare. What drew me to it is how closely its fatty acid profile mirrors our skin’s natural oils. Because of that, tallow absorbs beautifully, supports the skin barrier, and feels deeply nourishing without being harsh or drying.

This is why tallow became the foundation of everything we make.

At Wild Crafted Tallow, we use whole-food, recognizable ingredients—the kind you don’t need to Google. Our products are made with grass-fed tallow sourced from ethical, local Canadian farms, blended thoughtfully with ingredients like extra virgin olive oil and gentle herbal infusions.

We intentionally avoid essential oils, fragrances, preservatives, and synthetic additives. Not because they’re trendy to avoid—but because simplicity works. Especially for sensitive skin, babies, and families.

Small Batches, On Purpose

Every product is handcrafted in small batches. Our process is slow and hands-on, from sourcing and rendering to whipping, pouring, and packaging. This allows us to maintain quality, freshness, and care in every single jar or bar that leaves our hands.

This business is one mama-run, faith-led, and built with intention. It’s not about scaling fast—it’s about stewarding well.
